The Good Friday service in Shakthinagar Church commenced at 5 pm on 2nd April 2021 with Rev Fr Gerald Dsouza as the main celebrant along with Rev Fr Antony Shera.
The Passion of Christ was narrated by Fr Gerald Dsouza, Gregs Pinto and Gladson Pereira. Fr Antony in his homily stressed the significance of suffering Jesus teaches us to forgive one another.
The Crucifix was brought to the altar which was unveiled step by step with due respect and adoration. The faithful paid respect to the Crucifix by bowing at it.
