At 7:30 pm, the Easter celebration began. The Easter Candle was lit from the New Fire and carried to the Altar in a procession. Parishioners lit candles from the flame as it was carried down the aisle. The water was blessed, and the Holy water was sprinkled on everyone in attendance.
The Exsultate — the Easter Hymn was sung by Rev Fr Gerald. Five readings from the Sacred Scriptures paved the salvation history of mankind. The statue of the Risen Jesus was unveiled as Gloria resounded.
