Maundy Thursday was celebrated on the 14th of April 2022. The service commenced at 6:30 pm.
Fr Nilesh led the service. In the homily, he reflected on the importance of Jesus who set an example to each one of us by washing the feet of his disciple. He emphasized the role that priests play in building the church and uniting its people in faith.
As a symbolic gesture to commemorate Jesus’ selfless act of washing his disciples’ feet, washed the feet of the twelve chosen parishioners.
Fr Gerald Dsouza, Fr Pramod Crasta, and Fr Vijay Lobo, Principal, St Philomena PU College, Puttur concelebrated.
