The Catechetical Year was inaugurated on Sunday, June 5th, 2022 during 7:30 am mass. The entrance procession started for the mass by the vice president leading with the crucifix, which included the Celebrants, Catechism teachers, altar servers, a couple representing all parents, and one student from each division.
The Holy Bible was placed on the decorated table, and everyone who came in procession read out the verses highlighting the significance of the Holy Scriptures in their lives. Then everyone took an oath to read, reflect, and live according to the Bible.
The Holy Mass commemorating the feast of Pentecost was held after the inauguration. All catechists gathered around the altar after reciting ‘I believe’ and took the solemn pledge that they would proclaim the Holy Bible and teach catechism with complete dedication.
