The festival of new corn was celebrated at Dev Matha Ward of Mother of God Church, Mariagiri Shakthinagar on 18th September 2022 at 7 pm onwards at the house of Praveen Sequeira.
The Ward Gurkar Dolphy Dsouza welcomed warmly everyone gathered especially the Parish Priest Fr Gerald Dsouza. The prayer service was led by Paul Dsouza and his team. The reflection of the proclaimed Word of God was delivered by the Parish Priest, and with the thanksgiving hymn, the prayer service was concluded.
There were a few games conducted by Praveen Sequeira. Divina and Ayona Dsouza danced to the tune of the Marian hymn. Meena Fernandes greeted the birthday celebrants of the month and Ida Sequeira navigated the program.
