At Shakthinagar Church, the nine-day novena that was held in preparation for the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Nativity Feast began on Tuesday, August 30, and lasted till September 7th. At 5:30 p.m., Fr Gerald Dsouza, Fr Vincent Saldanha, and Fr Pramod Crasta led the novena mass.
The wards and associations led the liturgy. Many children had come with flower baskets along with their parents to honor Infant Mary. On each day of the novena, sweets were distributed.
