On 11 September 2022 at 7:30 PM, members of the ward gathered for the celebration of the new corn feast.
The ceremony began with angelous and the rosary, honoring Mother Mary. After reading the Gospel, Rev Fr Gerald Dsouza delivered the message of the day. After which the ward members sang a hymn to Mother Mary and offered flowers.
Soon after the prayer service Vincent Carlo welcomed all gathered. After which the ward members as one family mixed the new corn with the payasam which was served to all. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks.
