The Food Expo. for Mission Sunday was observed at Shakthinagar Church on October 23, 2022.
Parishioners came together to prepare the Pork Bafat, Ragthi, Chicken Chilli, Kebab, and breakfast on the previous day. On the day of the celebration, the Holy Eucharistic mass was held at 7:30 am. After the mass, parishioners were served breakfast for coupons, followed by an auction.
The auction included an egg and offerings made during the holy mass such as coconuts, vegetables, etc.
Catholic Sabha, ICYM, and YCS took the overall responsibility. Praveen Sequeira was the emcee and auctioneer. A spirit of the mission was seen among the parishioners. All the ward gurkars played an essential role in organizing Mission Sunday.
