On May 14, 2023, the parishioners of Shakthinagar Church congregated to bid a heartfelt farewell to the resident priest, Rev. Fr Vincent Vinod Saldanha. The day commenced with a mass at 7:30 am led by Fr Vincent himself. Following the Mass, a felicitation ceremony was conducted, initiating with a touching gesture wherein Fr. Gerald, the Parish Priest, along with Stany Mascarenhas Vice President, Mary Pinto Secretary, and Tony Pinto Commission Convenor, jointly presented a bouquet of flowers to Fr Vincent, symbolizing their appreciation and well-wishes. Fr Gerald shared a few words, extending his best wishes for Fr Vincent’s forthcoming endeavors at Codialbail Press. In return, Fr Vincent expressed his deep gratitude to the entire parish community for their unwavering support during his stay at Shakthinagar.
