The inauguration of the Catechetical Year 2023-24 took place during the 7:30 am mass on Sunday, June 4th, 2023. The theme for this year is ‘ಆಯ್ತಾರಾಚೆಂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತಾಂವ್ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ್, ಬರಿಂ ಕುಟ್ಮಾಂ ಬಾಂದುಂಕ್ ಪ್ರೇರಣ್’. Following the guidelines from Mangala Jyothi, the inaugural rite was performed. After reciting ‘I believe,’ all catechists gathered around the altar and took a solemn pledge to faithfully proclaim the teachings of the Holy Bible and impart catechism with unwavering dedication.
