Nithyadar Ward Feast was celebrated on Sunday, June 25, 2023. The ward people conducted a meaningful liturgy for the mass at 7:30 am and thanked God Almighty for His blessings.
The festal celebration took place at the house of Philip Veera D’Silva in the evening at 6:30 pm. Parish Priest Rev. Fr Gerald D’Souza, Parish Pastoral Parishad Vice President, Secretary, and all Ward Gurkars were present.
The Programme began with the enthronement of the Holy Bible. Brian Monteiro and Dewon Fernandes along with other ward members conducted the Prayer Service. The gathering was welcomed by Ward Gurkar Asha Monteiro presenting a rose to each invitee. The Annual Ward Report was presented by Ward Secretary Lavina Pinto. The Ward members felicitated Gurkarn Asha Monteiro for her selfless service to the ward over the past 10 years. Wilma Fernandes expressed her gratitude on behalf of the Ward people.
Games and cultural programs were conducted. All members actively participated sharing joy and unity. Prizes were distributed to the winners. Gladson Pereira compered the program and Cynthia Pinto thanked all the people who made this feast successful and the invitees for gracing the occasion. Home-cooked delicious dinner was served to all people who were present.
