After the 7:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, July 23rd, 2023, the Catholic Sabha organized an impactful silent protest with the support of the parishioners. The protest aimed to express our solidarity with our suffering tribal brethren in the northeastern state of Manipur, who have been enduring inhuman atrocities in the region.
With a strong display of unity and compassion, the parishioners held placards conveying their messages of displeasure, concern, and urgency. They primarily demanded that the Central and Manipur State Governments expedite the peace process, normalize the situation, and assist the tribals in living in peace without further delay.
