On September 14, 2023, members of St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori Ward gathered at the Ward Grotto to celebrate the New Corn Feast. The ceremony began with the Angelus and rosary, followed by the gospel reading, after which Rev. Fr Gerald Dsouza shared reflections on the gospel. Ward members offered flowers to Mother Mary during the prayer service. After the prayer service, Ward Gurkar Tony Pinto extended a warm welcome to all attendees. The entire ward, unified as one family, shared the newly harvested corn with the payasm. The new family to the ward was welcomed on the occasion. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Ward Representative Flemia Fernandes.
