On Sunday, October 22, the vibrant members of St. Joseph Ward joyfully participated in celebrating their patron’s feast. A meaningful liturgy commenced at 7:30 am, expressing gratitude to the Almighty for his blessings.
The festal celebration unfolded at Kiriya Pushpa Samudhaya Bhavana in the evening at 6:30 pm. The program commenced with a prayer service led by Sandra Corda, Pauline Dsouza, and other ward members. Ward representative Maria Dcruz extended a warm welcome, and roses were presented to the invitees. Ward Secretary Greshal Inesh Rodrigues presented the annual ward report. It was followed by entertaining games and cultural performances by enthusiastic ward members, fostering joy and unity. Catholic Sabha President Arun DSouza inaugurated Gara-Garani Catholic Sabha in the ward. Prizes were distributed to the winners. Fr. Gerald delivered a thoughtful presidential address. Ward Gurkar David Crasta expressed gratitude to all contributors for the successful feast, thanking the attendees for gracing the occasion. Stany Mascarenhas skillfully compered the program, concluding with a delightful dinner served to everyone in attendance.
