At Mother of God church Mariagiri, Shakthinagar the stage for the upcoming Jubilee 2025, commemorating 2025 years since the birth of Jesus Christ was set with a ceremonious inauguration on Sunday 26th November, 2023 at 7:30am, beginning of the Holy Mass. The inauguration witnessed the unveiling of the Jubilee logo, marking the beginning of preparations for the Jubilee theme ‘Pilgrims of Hope’.
The procession with the YCS members holding placard 2023 as the year of learning, 2024 as the year of prayer and the 2025 Jubilee year and were placed on three stands at the Jubilee logo. Parish Priest Rev.Fr. Gerald D’Souza, Fr. Pramod Crasta, Fr. Fredrick Pais, Parish Priest, St. Lawrence Church, Mallandur were present at the inauguration. While Unveiling the Jubilee logo, recital of the Jubilee song and Bishop’s message was conveyed through the audio, for the upcoming Jubilee in 2025, revealing aim to celebrate Jesus, the church and our faith was accentuated upon. He outlined the two year preparatory road map, i.e 2023 as the Year of learning, and 2024 as the year of Prayer. He highlighted on the study of the four constitutions of second Vatican council and their importance. The ceremony was systematically enlightened by Mr. William Colaco. The solemn Eucharistic mass followed.
