Christmas is a season for sharing of love and joy with one another. The parishioners of Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar celebrated the day with great pomp and glory. On 24th at 6.30pm Carols resonated and the birth of Jesus overflowed across the hearts of gathering, followed by the Eucharistic celebrations. Rev Fr Gerald Dsouza celebrated the holy mass. Fr Pramod Crasta and Fr Derick Cutinho from Pune Diocese concelebrated. Entire ambience was decorated with lights and stars. The crib was an attraction, depicting the Birth of Jesus. After the Mass YCS, ICYM, Catholic Sabha, Stree Sangaton members performed beautiful dance that dessimated the joy of Christmas. The presence of Santa, wishing and greeting individuals added color to the celebrations. Auctioning of Kuswar Box and wine was done. Christmas eve ended with a game of housie housie. This Christmas was genuinely joyful, bringing cheer and positive energy to every parishioner.
