On 30th March 2024 at 7:30 pm, the Easter celebration began. The ceremony commenced with the Blessing of the Paschal Candle, symbolizing the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Candle was lit from the New Fire and carried to the Altar in a procession. Parishioners lit candles from the flame as it was carried down the aisle.
The Exsultate — the Easter Hymn was sung by Rev. Fr Gerald. Five readings from the Sacred Scriptures paved the salvation history of mankind. The statue of the Risen Jesus was unveiled as Gloria resounded.
The water was blessed, and the faithful renewed their Baptismal vows, experiencing a profound spiritual connection. Blessed water was then sprinkled over the congregation. Fr Pramod concelebrated.
