The Good Friday ceremony at Shakthinagar Church began at 5:00 pm. The entire ceremony consisted of four parts: The Word of God, Prayers of the Church, The veneration of the Holy Cross and The Holy Eucharist.
The priests prostrated at the sanctum in reverence and humility. The Gospel was sung by Rev. Fr Gerald, Rev. Fr Vincent, and Gladson after which Fr Vincent reflected on the Word of God.
This was followed by solemn prayers. The Holy Cross was exalted and venerated by the faithful gathered. Holy Communion was distributed to all the faithful present at the ceremony.
