Catholic Sabha organized a flag hoisting ceremony at Shakthinagar Church grounds to commemorate India’s 78th Independence Day on August 15, 2024 at 8:30 am.
David Crasta, president of Catholic Sabha, extended a warm welcome to everyone. The national anthem was sung as the flag was hoisted and saluted by the gathering.
Rev. Fr Apolinaris Crasta delivered the presidential address. Parishioners, including Fr. Pramod Crasta, PPP Vice President Stany Mascarenhas, PPP Secretary Margaret Mary Pinto, Commission Convenor Ronald Tony Pinto, Catholic Sabha President David Crasta, were present.
Veena Mascarenhas compered the program. Catholic Sabha Secretary Lavina Pinto proposed the vote of thanks, and sweets were distributed to the parishioners.
