Anti-Drug Awareness Month, an initiative by the Diocese of Mangalore, was organized by ICYM at Mother of God Church, Mariagiri, Shakthinagar, on September 1, 2024, after the first mass to address the growing concerns related to substance abuse. The event aimed to educate, inform, and support individuals and families affected by drug addiction.
Ashton Dsouza Neermarga delivered a brief educational session, focusing on the health impacts of drugs, legal consequences, and preventive measures. Rev. Fr Apolinaris Crasta, Rev. Fr Pramod Crasta, members of the Parish Pastoral Porishod, and parishioners were present.
