Ash Wednesday marks the dawn of Lent, a season of penance, prayer and alms giving. The Lenten season begins from Ash Wednesday a day of fasting.
On 5th March 2025 at Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar, holy mass offered at 7 am and 5:30 pm. Many parishioners attended and received the mark of the cross with ash on forehead as a sign of repentance and penance.
