On the evening of Friday, 25th April many Parishioners gathered at Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar to bid farewell to Papa Francis.
The evening began with a solemn requiem Mass at 6:00 PM, celebrated by our Parish Priest Rev Fr Apolinaris Crasta and Rev Fr Pramod Crasta concelebrated. Many faithful attended the Holy Eucharist and prayed for the departed soul of His Holiness Pope Francis.
Fr Pramod Crasta in his tribute to Papa briefly narrated the richness, goodness and the values of life always practiced and preached by our loving Pope Francis. At the end all paid tribute by offering flowers and by lighting the candles.
Goodbye Papa, we pray to you, for interceding with our Lord for salvation of mankind in the world.
