On 11th May 2025, six children received their First Holy Communion at Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar, during the solemn Eucharistic celebration held at 8:00 AM. The celebration was marked with deep devotion and active participation by the communicants themselves.
The children contributed meaningfully to the liturgy by taking part in the readings, singing of the responsorial psalm, and leading the prayers of the faithful, showcasing their spiritual preparation and enthusiasm.
Rev Fr Pramod Crasta was the main celebrant for the Holy Mass with Rev Fr Apolinaris Crasta as the concelebrant. Their inspiration presence and homily added grace and spiritual depth to the celebration.
Following the Eucharistic celebration, each child was gifted a rosary and scapular as symbols of their faith journey and continued devotion to Mother Mary and Jesus.
