St. Alphonsus Maria De Ligouri Ward Patron Feast Celebration
The members of St. Alphonsus Maria De Liguori Ward joyfully celebrated their Patron Feast on 3rd August 2025. A Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated in the church at 7:00 AM. The evening celebration commenced at 6:30 PM at the residence of Mr. Vincent Carlo, with citation of the Rosary and Reading of the Bible. Rev. Fr. Apolinaris Crasta gave thoughtful reflection. The special invitees were the Parish Priest and the Parish Pastoral Parishad members. Gurkar Mrs. Irene Carlo, extended a warm welcome to all guests. Ms. Shirley DSouza presented the ward report through an LED panel, giving a brief overview of the ward’s activities and accomplishments. Mr. Norbert Rodrigues narrated life and the legacy of St. Alphonsus Maria De Liguori, inspiring the Patron Saint’s virtues and services. The variety entertainment programs captivated the gathering. A felicitation ceremony was held to honor individuals from the ward for outstanding achievements, duly appreciated and congratulated by Rev.Fr. Apolinaris Crasta, the Gurkar and ward representative.Mrs. Flamia Fernandes conducted spot games for children and adults, and all participated actively. Prizes were distributed by Fr. Apolinaris Crasta to all the winners. The event was meticulously anchored by Shervin Patrao and Prishel Pinto with smooth flow and engagement throughout. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Flamia Fernandes, expressing gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the celebration. The celebration concluded with a delicious community meal, enjoyed by all. A gathering of 95 individuals, including ward members and special guests, took part in this joyful occasion, marking it as a memorable and spiritually enriching event for the community.
