The Nativity Feast of St Joseph Ward was joyfully celebrated On 21st September 2025 at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Johnson Sandra Corda at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Sandra Corda extended a warm welcome to all the ward members.
The prayer service was led by Mrs. Maria D’Cruz, the ward representative, after which all the ward members offered flowers to Mother Mary at the grotto. As per tradition, each family added new corn, which was then blessed by the Gurkar and shared among everyone present.
The vote of thanks was proposed by the ward Gurkar. On this occasion, the teachers of the ward were honored with flowers in recognition of their dedication and service in the field of education. Fun games organized by Mrs. Veena Mascarenhas and Mr. Stany Mascarenhas added excitement and cheer to the gathering.
The celebration concluded with a fellowship dinner, strengthening the bond of unity and joy among all ward members. Around 60 members actively participated in the celebration.
