The St Lawrence Ward celebrated its Nativity Feast on 28th September 2025 at the residence of Carmine and Joseph D’Silva. The celebration began at 5:00 p.m.
Mr. Arun D’Souza welcomed the gathering, and together with his team, led the prayer. The ward members offered flowers to Mother Mary. Gurkar Mrs. Saritha D’Souza blessed the new corn, after which it was shared among everyone.
In the absence of the Parish Priest, the Parish Pastoral Parishad (PPP) Vice President Mr. Stany Mascarenhas and Secretary Mrs. Mary Pinto conducted the election. A total of 20 ward members were present for the program and election.
Finally, Mrs. Saritha D’Souza was elected as the Ward Gurkar for the next four years.
Mr. Arun D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks and compered the program.
