To provide an opportunity to the ailing and elderly ward members to participate in the Holy Eucharist, the celebration was held at Vailankani Ward on 17th March 2026 at 6:00 p.m., at the residence of Mr. Joseph Vas. Members of St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori Ward also joined in the celebration.
The parish priest, Rev. Fr. Apolinaris Crasta, offered the Holy Mass, delivered a meaningful homily based on the Word of God, and offered special prayers for the sick and aged members. Celebrating the Eucharist at the ward level during the Lenten season helped the ward members to pray more devoutly and experience the nearness and warmth of the ward community.
The celebration concluded with words of gratitude expressed by the ward Gurkar, Mr. William Colaso, followed by the distribution of soft drinks and sweets, marking the event with joy and fellowship.
