The parishioners of Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar warmly welcomed the new resident priest, Rev. Fr. Ivan Peter Cordeiro, on May 11, 2026. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Apolinaris Crasta, PPP Vice President Mr. William Colaco, Secretary Mrs. Gracy DSouza, Commission Coordinator Mrs. Maria DCruz, PPP members, and numerous parishioners gathered together to receive and welcome him in place of Rev. Fr. Pramod Crasta.
Fr. Ivan is presently serving at Cordialbail Press as Assistant Manager. He will now reside at Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar and assist the Parish Priest in various pastoral services and parish activities.
He was accompanied by Rev. Fr. Vincent Saldanha, Manager of Cordialbail Press. The gathering began with a thanksgiving prayer, followed by blessings from the newly appointed resident priest, Rev. Fr. Ivan Cordeiro. The parish community expressed their joy and extended heartfelt wishes for his fruitful ministry in the parish.
