The oath-taking ceremony of the Young Christian Students (YCS) of Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar, for the year 2026–27 was held on 28th June 2026 during the 7:00 a.m. Holy Mass. The Eucharistic celebration was led by Rev. Fr. Ivan Cordeiro, the main celebrant.
During the Holy Mass, the newly elected office bearers solemnly took the oath of office, pledging to serve God, the Church, and society with dedication and commitment.

The YCS members actively participated in the Holy Eucharistic celebration and the oath-taking ceremony, marking the beginning of a new year of faith-filled leadership and dedicated service. The parish community extended their prayers and best wishes to the newly elected team, asking God to bless and guide them in all their endeavours.
