The 9-Day Novena to Mother Mary commenced on 30 August 2026 at Mother of God Church, Mariagiri, Shakthinagar. The Holy Mass and novena prayers are celebrated every evening at 5:30 PM, with the faithful gathering in prayer and devotion to seek the intercession of Mother Mary.
Fr. Ivan Peter Cordeiro is the main celebrant of the Holy Mass and leads the novena prayers. The seven ward members, together with the various parish associations, have actively participated in and supported the arrangements and celebration of the Holy Mass and novena.
Following the novena prayers, sweets were distributed to the faithful as a gesture of love, fellowship, and community spirit.
