The Catholic Sabha Shakthinagar unit organized an elocution competition on October 25, 2026, at 4:00 PM in the church mini hall. The competition was organized to encourage and promote the speaking talents of children. A total of 20 children enthusiastically participated in the event, which was conducted across five categories. Mrs. Shanthi D’Souza from Kelarai Parish and Mr. Francis Gonsalves from Neermarga Parish served as the judges for the competition.
The coordinator of the elocution competition, Mr. Johnson D’Souza, compered the programme, while Mr. Arun D’Souza led the prayer. President Mrs. Jacintha Monis welcomed the gathering, and Secretary Mrs. Veena Mascarenhas proposed the vote of thanks. All participating children and the prize winners were honored with a memento and a certificate. Along with the children, elders were also present for the programme, and cold drinks, coffee, and snacks were arranged for everyone.
