Each New Year offers exciting opportunity for a fresh start and a new beginning which is probably why we all look forward to New Year’s Eve.
The parishioners of Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar bid farewell to the year 2023 and welcomed the New Year 2024 in a special way. Thanksgiving adoration for all the blessings received during 2023, followed by Holy Mass for the New Year to be filled with joy hope and blessings. The ceremony began at 7:00 pm. Rev.Fr. Gerald Dsouza was the celebrant for the adoration and the Holy mass and gave a meaningful homily emphasizing the holy family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
After the mass people were offered Snacks and soft drinks. Auction was held. The Eve ended with a game of Housie Housie. Stany Mascarehnas compered the program.
