Devotees gathered in large numbers at 7:00 am and at 5:30 pm to participate in the Holy Eucharist. Fr Nilesh Crasta was the main celebrant for the morning service, Fr Joseph Crasta concelebrated. Fr Gerald Dsouza led the evening service.
The Ashes were blessed and sprinkled on the faithful as they came in procession with the spirit of repentance and penance.
