On December 11, 2022, at 3:30 pm, there was a shramadhan in preparation for Christmas at Mother of God Church. Around 40 parishioners attended and cleaned the church and surroundings.

The Food Expo. for Mission Sunday was observed at Shakthinagar Church on October 23, 2022. Parishioners came together to prepare the Pork Bafat, Ragthi, Chicken Chilli, Kebab, and breakfast on the previous day. On the day of the celebration, the Holy Eucharistic mass was held at 7:30 am. On October 2nd, 2022 soon after the mass vehicle blessing ceremony was held at the church premises. A short prayer service was held. Fr Gerald, Fr Pramod, and Fr Vincent sprinkled holy water on the vehicles to bless them.
