Christmas is a season filled with joy and love over the birth of Jesus. Shakthinagar Parishioners gathered to celebrate Christmas on 24th December 2022. At 7.00 pm, the Christmas carols began which was followed by the Eucharistic celebration. Rev Fr Gerald Dsouza was the main celebrant, Rev Fr Vincent Saldanha concelebrated the Holy Eucharist.

On December 11, 2022, at 3:30 pm, there was a shramadhan in preparation for Christmas at Mother of God Church. Around 40 parishioners attended and cleaned the church and surroundings.
The Food Expo. for Mission Sunday was observed at Shakthinagar Church on October 23, 2022. Shakthinagar Church had solemn celebration of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Nativity on September 8, 2022, at 7:30 am. As a sign of reverence and affection for Mother Mary, the parishioners offered her flowers. The new corn was blessed and then carried to the altar by the Gurkars. Fr. Gerald Dsouza presided over the solemn Eucharistic celebration.
