Shakthinagar Church had solemn celebration of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Nativity on September 8, 2022, at 7:30 am. As a sign of reverence and affection for Mother Mary, the parishioners offered her flowers. The new corn was blessed and then carried to the altar by the Gurkars. Fr. Gerald Dsouza presided over the solemn Eucharistic celebration.
At Shakthinagar Church, the nine-day novena that was held in preparation for the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Nativity Feast began on Tuesday, August 30, and lasted till September 7th.
