On the occasion of the birthday of Rev. Fr. Ivan Cordeiro, all the parishioners gathered at Mother of God Church, on 6th October 2026, at 6:30 a.m. A Holy Mass was offered in thanksgiving for Fr. Ivan’s life and ministry.
Soon after the Mass, the parishioners gathered in the church corridor for a short birthday celebration. Fr. Ivan Cordeiro cut the birthday cake amidst the joyful presence of the parish community.
The programme was compered by the Parish Pastoral Vice President, Mr. William Colaso. Secretary, Mrs. Gracy D’Souza, spoke about Fr. Ivan Cordeiro and expressed her appreciation and good wishes on behalf of the parish community. The Commission Coordinator, Mrs. Maria D’Cruz, was also present on the occasion.
The parishioners offered flowers to Fr. Ivan as a gesture of love, respect, and good wishes. Fr. Ivan expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their prayers, love, and warm wishes.
The celebration concluded with the distribution of cake to all the parishioners, making the occasion a joyful and memorable one for the entire parish community.
