The Catechism Teachers’ meet was held at Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar on Sunday, November 9, 2025, soon after the second Mass. The gathering was organized in connection with the feast of St. Charles Borromeo, celebrated on November 4, who is known as the initiator of catechism in the Catholic Church.
Parish Priest Rev.Fr. Apolinaris Crasta appreciated and applauded all the dedicated teachers who voluntarily impart catechetical teaching to students from Kindergarten to PU classes. As a token of gratitude, all teachers were honored with flowers, diaries and gifts. Resident Priest and YCS animator Rev.Fr. Pramod Crasta was also present for the occasion.
The program was compered by Mrs. Jean Dsouza, Catechism Coordinator. The event began with a prayer service led by Sr. Hencil, followed by a welcome address by Mrs. Lavina Dsouza, and concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Gracy Dsouza. The meeting ended with tea and snacks, providing an opportunity for fellowship and interaction among the teachers.
