Ten children received their First Holy Communion during the 8:00 AM Holy Mass held on Sunday, 10th May 2026, at Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar.
The Holy Eucharistic celebration was led by the Main Celebrant, Rev. Fr. Pramod Crasta, marking his final service in our parish before taking charge as Assistant Parish Priest at Infant Jesus Church, Modankap. He concelebrated the Mass along with our Vicar, Rev. Fr. Apolinaris Crasta, and Rev. Fr. Ronson Pinto.
The sermon for the Holy Communion children was delivered by Rev. Fr. Ronson Pinto, who inspired the children and the faithful with his meaningful message on the importance of receiving Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.
The choir added solemnity and devotion to the celebration by singing melodious hymns throughout the Mass, making the occasion spiritually uplifting and memorable for everyone present.
After the Holy Mass, the parish community expressed heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. Pramod Crasta for his dedicated service in our church. A felicitation program was held in his honour, during which a Maan Pathra was presented as a token of love, appreciation, and gratitude for his valuable contributions to the parish.
