On 13th May 2026 at around 2:45 PM, nearly 65 parishioners from Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar gathered together to pray for Rev. Fr. Pramod Crasta as he began his new mission as Assistant Parish Priest of Infant Jesus Church, Modankap, Bantwal.
The parishioners later arrived at Infant Jesus Church, Modankap at 3:30 PM, where Rev. Fr. Pramod Crasta was warmly welcomed by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Victor D’Souza, with a jasmine garland. The welcome ceremony was attended by priests, Parish Pastoral Parishad (PPP) members, and parishioners of Modankap Church. The programme was hosted by the Assistant Parish Priest of Modankap Church, Rev. Fr. Lancy D’Souza.
The prayer service was led by Rev. Fr. Victor D’Souza, followed by a stage programme held in the church. During the programme, Rev. Fr. Vincent Vinod Saldanha spoke appreciatively about Rev. Fr. Pramod Crasta and thanked him for his dedicated service rendered at Codialbail Press and Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar.
Rev. Fr. Victor D’Souza also highlighted the history and significance of Infant Jesus Church, Modankap, and expressed his hope for Rev. Fr. Pramod Crasta’s dedicated and fruitful service in the parish.
Addressing the gathering, Rev. Fr. Pramod Crasta expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the love, guidance, encouragement, coordination, and support he received from the priests and staff of Codialbail Press, as well as the Vicar and parishioners of Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar, during his five years of service.

At the end of the programme, refreshments were served to all.
