The word of God (Bible Day) was solemnly inaugurated on Sunday, 25th January 2026, at Mother of God Church, Shakthinagar during the 7 AM holy Mass. The celebration began with a worshipful entrance procession, in which the Holy bible was carried by the Vicar, Rev.Fr. Apolinaris Crasta. The Holy bible was placed on a beautifully decorated stand near the alter, and offered flowers as a sign of reverence.
During the Mass, he distributed copies of the Bible to selected parishioners who took part in the ceremony symbolizing their mission to proclaim the word of God to others. This act reflected the example of Jesus, who entrusted his disciples with spreading the good news.
