On Sunday, 27th September 2026, the members of St. Joseph Ward gathered at the residence of Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Sandra Corda at 4:00 p.m. to celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of Mother Mary. A ward meeting was held, followed by the feast celebration.
The programme began with a warm welcome by Mrs. Sandra Corda. The ward members participated in prayers and offered flowers to Mother Mary as a mark of their love and devotion.
As part of the traditional celebration, new corn was added to the payasam prepared by Mrs. Sandra Corda, symbolising gratitude and the blessings of a new harvest.
Birthday and wedding anniversary wishes were extended to the ward members by Mrs. Maria D’Cruz. The programme was compered by Mr. Stany Mascarenhas, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Sunil D’Souza.
The celebration brought the ward members together in prayer, joy and fellowship, making the Nativity Feast a memorable and meaningful occasion for everyone.
