The Youth Catholic Students (YCS) of the parish organized a series of engaging events to celebrate Children’s Day in November 2024. The celebrations were marked by joyful activities, enthusiastic participation, and moments of gratitude, making the events both memorable and meaningful.
Children’s Day Games – November 10, 2024
The festivities began on November 10, 2024, with a series of games organized for children from LKG to Class 10. These games, carefully planned by the YCS students, encouraged teamwork, engagement, and enjoyment. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation across all age groups, bringing smiles and laughter to every corner of the parish.
Children’s Day Celebration – November 17, 2024
Thanksgiving Mass
The celebration day commenced with a solemn Thanksgiving Mass officiated by Fr. Pramod Crasta. This spiritual beginning set the tone for a day filled with gratitude and joy.
Formal Program
The formal program began with a prayer service led by Mr. Deyon DSouza and the YCS members. Following this, Ms. Shreya Dsouza delivered a thoughtful message on the significance of Children’s Day, highlighting the vital role children play in society.
Welcome and Dignitaries
The welcome address was delivered by Mr. Priston Sequeira, President of YCS, who extended a warm greeting to the dignitaries and the attendees.

A wishing song by the YCS choir, which was well-received for its melodious rendition.
Energetic dance performances, captivating the audience with their vibrant choreography and synchronization.
Adding to the excitement, a lucky game was organized, and the winners received prizes distributed by Sr. Irene, Sr. Teresita, and Mr. Stany Mascarenhas.
Concluding Remarks and Refreshments
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Anshal DSouza, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and organizers for their invaluable contributions.
The event was systematically anchored by Ms. Siona Lobo, ensuring a smooth flow of the program.
