The Catechism Opening Ceremony of our parish was held on 7th June at 8:00 a.m. during the Holy Mass. The celebration marked the beginning of a new catechetical year with prayer, devotion, and blessings for all children, parents, and teachers.
A special inauguration enactment was presented during the Mass, depicting parents bringing their children near Jesus, symbolizing the importance of guiding children in faith and spiritual growth. The meaningful presentation created a prayerful atmosphere for everyone gathered.
After the Holy Mass, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament was conducted, offering the faithful a time of silent prayer and reflection.
An oath-taking ceremony for the catechism teachers was also held, where the teachers committed themselves to faithfully serve and guide the children in their journey of faith.
The Parish Priest Rev Fr Apolonaris Crasta and Resident Parish Priest Rev Fr Ivan Peter cordeiro, graced the occasion with their presence and encouraged the children, parents, and teachers to actively participate in catechism and grow closer to God throughout the year.
